The Tremplin Consortium recognizes the evolving landscape of career outcomes for graduate students and postdocs.
Individuals holding MSc or PhD degrees may transition to diverse roles within and outside the academic sector, demonstrating resilience and adaptability. Research indicates that engaging in career development activities during university predicts higher career satisfaction and enhances graduate student retention within their field of expertise.
Notably, Quebec’s Chief Scientist, Pr Remi Quirion, advocates for exploratory internships during graduate studies. The FRQS Tremplin Award was designed with the purpose of meeting the career and professional development needs of graduates and postdocs.
Within this context, the Tremplin Consortium offers tailored professional and career development opportunities to biomedical trainees navigating dynamic changes in academic and industry jobs.
