Congratulations to Dr. Alexandra Kindrat from the Research Institute of MUHC, recipients of a $2,000 Tremplin Ambassador Award to support the launch of BRaIN Toastmasters Club — an initiative that provides a hands-on approach to regularly practice public speaking, leadership, and communication skills in a supportive environment.

Congratulations to Dr. Gerald Batist, Kathryn Bozek, Sarah Ghezelbash, Mirta Dumancic, Migmar Tsamchoe, Farida Zakariya, Maryam Rahbaran, Andia Moshari, Anantpreet Kaur Sood, Shyam Vijayan Menon, and Jennifer Choi from the Lady Davis Institute, recipients of a $2,000 Tremplin Ambassador Award to support the launching of a podcast series featuring interviews with people who had success in spinning off to commercialize their innovation or in translating their research — an initiative that address the professional growth needs, empowering research trainees to pursue careers in the innovation ecosystem.

Congratulations to Dr Abhinav Sharma and George Perlman from the Research Institute of MUHC, recipient of a $2,000 Tremplin Ambassador Award to join Stanford School of Engineering’s online Machine Learning course XCS2293 — a training program aimed at developing research skills including artificial intelligence and programming, and empowering trainees in self-development and sense of community. 

Congratulations to Dr Lenka Schorova and Justin Sung from the Research Institute of MUHC, recipient of a $2,000 Tremplin Ambassador Award to support MeDiC-al research for all: science communication, social media, and public relations  — workshops aimed at improving science communication competencies of participants.

Congratulations to Dr. Ciro Picirrillo , Dr. Alexandra De Pokomandy and Dr. Eric Beliveau from the Research Institute of MUHC, recipient of a $2,000 Tremplin Ambassador Award to support Shaping Your Future: A Retreat for IDIGH Students  — a one-day event, that assembles IDIGH trainees to explore diverse career paths and make informed decisions about their futures.

Congratulations to Dr. Miriam Santos Dutra from the Lady Davis Institute, recipient of a $2,000 Tremplin Ambassador Award to support the Cancer Translational Research Horizons — a one-day conference, that assembles trainees, undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, and key stakeholders from pharmaceuticals, medical technology, digital health, and academia to display their promising innovations to companies and researchers interested in commercialization or collaboration.
