Cancer Translational Research Horizons

Congratulations to Dr. Miriam Santos Dutra from the Lady Davis Institute, recipient of a $2,000 Tremplin Ambassador Award to support the Cancer Translational Research Horizons — a one-day conference, that assembles trainees, undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, and key stakeholders from pharmaceuticals, medical technology, digital health, and academia to display their promising innovations to companies and researchers interested in commercialization or collaboration.

Featuring speakers from the innovation ecosystems of Montreal and abroad, it aims to inspire the pursuit of translational research, expose trainees to end users and private sector and inspire them to develop innovations and explore new career avenues.

Added Value : Address obstacles and solutions in translating precision medicine innovations, while underscoring the importance of private-academia partnerships, and inspiring translational researchers to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and with private partners.

❝ We were honored to host Dr. Andre Diamant, CEO of Gray Oncology Solutions, who presented “Incorporating AI & Operations Research to Optimize & Automate the
Scheduling of Cancer Care Trajectories.” His talk highlighted the real-world application of AI and operations research in optimizing cancer care delivery. Additionally, the Tremplin Ambassador award allowed us to offer meaningful prizes to multiple trainees who achieved high scores from the evaluation committee for their presentation or poster. We believe these prizes were a great motivation, encouraging trainees to strive for the best on every step of their path.
