DCAT’s Career Spark 2025: Workshop & Networking Lunch
Join us on December 3, 2025, for the Career Spark Workshop & Networking Lunch, a unique opportunity for graduate trainees (MSc and PhD), postdoctoral fellows, and health science professionals to connect and inspire one another. Hosted by the Desjardins Centre for Advanced Training, this event brings together experienced professionals and emerging scientists for engaging, roundtable discussions in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere.
In addition, we are excited to feature a special workshop with Andrew Churchill, PhD, titled: Own Your Story: Communicating Who You Are and Where You’re Going. This session will provide practical strategies for sharing your personal and professional journey, helping you communicate your unique strengths and aspirations with clarity and confidence.
For trainees, this event is a chance to learn directly from those in your field, gaining insights into diverse career paths and the realities of working in the health sciences. For professionals, it’s an opportunity to share your experiences, offer mentorship, and help shape the future of Montreal’s life sciences community.
There are two types of tickets available for the event: 60 spots for trainees and 22 spots for professionals (these are now sold out). To secure your place, please reserve your ticket early! If all trainee tickets sell out, a waiting list will be created.
